About Me
Infected in 1983 through gay sex with another man. I turned out to be one in 3.2 million people worldwide that tests a false negative for HIV. I was not officially HIV+ until 1999, at which time I learned that I had AIDS. Although I had a long undetectable period of time, I (and my closest friends) all knew I was positive, so I began practicing keeping a positive mental attitude about the illness long before it was officially detected. This is the "key" to maintaining a long viable life with HIV!!!
