I've been living in the United States for the past sixteen years, and I am now a..voting American citizen. This is where I had brain surgery in 2003; surgery that did free me from seizures but only for a few years. Prior to my American life with a devoted spouse who's totally understanding as far as my epileptic condition is concerned, I was born, raised, and spent some thirty three years in the fabulous but very small island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, a country that only very few of my American brothers and sisters even know exists!!
