- Hi! I am a 39 yr. old who has been happily married for 15 years. I started suffering with pain after spending 11 days in ICU do to an asthma attack. I was given industrial size doses of steroids to save my life and was given very high doses of steroids for many years. Due to this, I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia among other things. I have a wonderful pain specialist who does everything in his power to keep me comfortable. I hope everybody has this. Love to hear from anybody. Thanks.
