I am 42 years old and I was dx with PD at the age of 26. I was a police officer and I was working narcotics. The tremors started in my right hand and dismissed it as stress from the job. I finally went to the dr. who advised me that I had PD a year later I got a 2nd opinon from the Mayo clinic in Scotsdale AZ. After almost 13 years with the police department I had to medically retire. I have been on Mirapex, which made me sick as a dog to include the gambling.
