I started to get symptoms in 2005. I was working in Alaska as a fish processor and my hand became almost impossible to control. My employer thought it might be carpel tunel because of all the repeatitive cutting of fish. After about of 3 weeks of tests I was sent to a neuro. He took a MRI and told me it was MS, but said I could get a second opinion. A few weeks later I regained control of my hand. My only MS symptom was numbness in my right hand. I lived for about 3 years of semi-denial. I think I felt that my MS would just fade away or stay in remission.
