I'm 54, married with 3 grown kids, 3 grandkids, 1 in Tennessee and 2 in Mississippi. Before I became ill in May, 2008, I was a 20 year associate at Wal-Mart in Sevierville, TN. I was first diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis in May and then developed blurry vision. My neuro had me do a EVR test and after he got the results had me start taking Betaseron shots. I've been on it since April 16th, 2009. I struggle with strong fatigue and neuropathy in my legs and feet, also numbness there and my entire left side. My knees ache and are stiff, but I can still walk and get around.
