I had my first symptoms of MS while deployed to Iraq with the Marines. I started meds, changed my diet, started taking supplements, and exercising more than usual. My symptoms have greatly improved but have not gone away. After 1 yr I had perhaps one more lesion (total of 5 in brain). At yr two I was back to 4. I have yet to have an exhascerbation in the last 2 yrs. I spend my time with my wonderful and beautiful wife and my four terrific kids. I won't go down without a fight. I have learned to live with MS not for MS. I have MS...MS doesn't have me !
