I am a 67 yr. old female, natural mother of 1 girl and 2 boys. Step-mother to 2 girls and one boy, who no longer choose to maintain contact. I've been widoed twice, first after 33 years, second after 9 years. Presently live with my oldest son and daughter-in-law, and could not ask for better care. Am in wheelchair full time. Enjoy each day and thank God He has given me the strength to face it. Would lovr to chat with others who live with this "thief of our lives", otherwise known as ALS. My best way of coping - laugh at something every day even if it is yourself.
