About Me: Grad student, teacher and writer, and until recently active in wrestling and judo. Had confusing symptoms for nine years, but no MRI until I lost vision in my right eye. Then diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS in September, 2009, on the day David Foster Wallace died. Not quite sure why, but it was a relief finding out; after going nine years without knowing anything, knowing and getting treatment doesn't seem so bad.
