Until age 40, I was very active physically and very connected to my career. Boy did that change! Less than 2 years later, I was diagnosed with MS, resigned from my positions as both Director of Nursing at a hospital and Director of Investigational Drug studies. Though the number of years it took to pick the pieces of my life back up, having lost ability to work, walk, friends lost and relationship collapsing were quite difficult, it has brought me to a point where I know who I am, as opposed to what I do or who I know.
