- 62 y.o. female, professional engineer, work all over world. I have managed to retard progression of PD though intense physical exercise. I took up kickboxing, tennis, go regularly to gym, and have a personal trainer to keep me honest. I took Mirapex for 1 month in early 2007 (dreadful!) after initial diagnosis but have now been med-free for over 2 years.
