I have had Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis for about 15 years or more. My FM has waxed and waned, never a remission. Over the last 2 years, my Osteoarthritis has been getting progressively worse. I have been trying to be more active in 2010 because my husband had pancreatic surgery 01/05/2010 and I have had to take care of him. Trying to be more active, like nothing was wrong with me, is tearing me up.

I am now a 59 year-old woman, married, now disabled, living with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. I have 4 grown children and have been married for 28 years to a wonderful man. I have chronic pain and still learning to with lifestyle changes. Prior to disability determination in March 2008, I have worked in the medical field since I was 17. Even though classified as disabled I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree in Naturopathy to work on alternative medicine to help myself as well as others.
