About Me
I grew up in NE Pennsylvania on my parents 39 acre farm. I graduated highschool, and joined the US Navy in May 1979. I served 13 years in the Navy, with the rank of IS1 when I was discharged in 1992. I then went to college at Western Washington University, graduating with a BA in Human Services in 1996. I worked as a registered counselor until November 2001, when I was forced to stop working do to extreme back pain. I was dx with young onset Parkinson's disease in March 2004. I'm very active in YOPA and help my husband John run the online chat room every nite from 7-11 PM central.
