I am former first grade teacher, as well as both professional and volunteer Preschool teacher. At the time of my diagnosis I was homeschooling my learning disabled daughter. I am a staunch believer in home education. I am also a big time animal lover, currently the 'parent' of a golden retriever, a rottweiler-hound mix, a Sheltie puppy, two rescued cats and a rescued, formerly blind rabbit.
