I have had MS since'92. I was on a clinical research trial,out of the MS Clinic at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver - Canada,for REBIF for 10 years. I did very well on that, I was taken off for a month and could not beleive how good I felt so made the WRONG descion and stayed off. Seven months later i got sick (strep throat) and had a very bad relapse. No feelings from the neck down,head in a total fog etc. etc. Now 4 years later I have been on Tysabrifor 2 of those 4 years and I dont think i'm getting really any better. My balance is really bad, use a power wheel chair at home.

If I leave the house I use a manual wheelchair or walker on wheels. I have feeling everywhere now (before starting Tysabri) but my arms and hands don't work well my huband does the cooking, and etc.etc. I find the Tysabri is wonder drug for most people. I seem to get very weak after an infusion and about the 4th week when it is getting low in my body, I seem to get stronger? Cant believe it took 2 yrs to figure this out!
