I have been a below-the-knee amputee since I was 4 years of age. Therefore, I think I know how to deal with physical disabilities. I have an optimistic outlook on life One of my favorite statements is that "Life is too important to be taken seriously." (I also realize that I have been extremely fortunate in that disease progression has been remarkably slow). I suspect (only suspect) that the fish oil and CoQ10 have been instrumental in slowing this progression.
I had a lucky "cardiac event" in December. Lucky because routine testing revealed a fast-growing, stage1a lung tumor. Following upper right lobe excision, I am considered cancer free. Leg amputation; lung excsision - a friend ofmine askedif I was trying to leave the world one piece at a time.
