- I am 41 years old and dx'd with Ms almost 8 years ago. My father had Ms and it was pretty bad so, when I was dx'd I was a little freaked out, I thought for sure I would be totally disabled like him. A few years later, not to be outdone, my brother was told he has MS too. My family and I moved from Florida to Wisconsin two years ago because Florida heat was just to much for me to handle (plus the giant bugs and snakes) and Wisconsin is so nice. I have two teenage son's, 2 dogs, 4 cats and my husband:) Well, I had two dog's. One had to be put down due to cancer.
