During my work life I was a news reporter for 10 years and a spokesperson for the University of Arizona as the director of media relations for 22 years. I went on disability in 2005. My major symptoms are rigidity and bradykinesa. I take stalevo, azilect and mirapex and am managing pretty well--you can get an idea of my quirky sense of humor by going to you tube and typing in Parkinson's rap.
