In 1996 I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome & later fibromyalgia. Initially the onset of my illness was severe & painful. Eventually it came & went to some degree. I always had to be careful due to problems with fatigue. Prior to 1996 I was dx with epstein barr & later hypothroidism (eventually hashimotos). I now believe all along I have been experiencing MS. Last summer I started to lose the use of my arm (along w/ many other typical ms symptoms). A muscle biopsy revealed type II muscle fibres showing mild atrophy. Dx came w/ abnl spinal tap & evoked potential but nl mri.
