Hi, I'm 54 years young and have had Parkinsons sense 1994. Three years ago I had DBS surgery and it has made a major difference in my life. I retired just last year as a special needs teacher but continue to do some tutoring at home as well as assessments for the special needs department. I have two wonderful daughters, 22 and 24 both are in graduate school. I work out a the gym, almost every day and have worked my way up to 45 minutes of cardio a day ! I am always active at home and enjoy gardening, painting and decorating, my husband of 32 years is a wonderful support person for me.
