I'm a Native of Atlanta, GA. I'm a certified SCUBA diver through PADI in 1977. Married 28 years. 2 grown children, 1 grandson and 1 on the way! Yay! I've worked hard all my life since I was 11 years old, making my own clothes, helping my parents add on to our original home a complete 2nd 1/2, cooking and canning with my mother, many many voluteer positions throughout all of my life and many jobs at everything from hourly to salary and running my own two businesses.
As some of you Diabetics may notice, I've now listed Non-Alchoholic Fatty Liver Disease as one of my med. conditions. As I have just come out from a Gastric Ultra-sound, upper and lower scopes, my Gastroenterologist tells me that the fatty Liver Disease comes as a result of the Diabetes. I most likely will have it the rest of my life as mine is hereditary from my maternal side of the family. I also have Hypothyroidism and the med. that I am on for this is preventing me from losing weight. All this along with the Severe Fybro./CFS, Angina, Coumadin/blood clotting issues, plus the Sleep Apnea (and I have to confess that often I just have to quit wearing it because the air (no matter how moistened) dries my nose out and mixed with the Coumadin issues I get bad nose bleeds! - PLUS the Menopause - I'm feeling great! NOT. I make daily lists and if I can get at least 3 things on it done a day, usually there are 6 or more things, I consider that enough for that day. Keep on keepin' on! At least we're here and trying!
