A life long stagehand working live theatre productions. Intended to work into my seventies. Fell at work twice in 2007, was sent to a physical therapist who advised me to see a neurologist who determined to her satisfaction that I had ALS. Had lived and worked in the Seattle area for thirty plus years. The cold and damp caused me to move like an unoiled Tinman. Moved to Douglas,AZ where I had a home where my Father had lived for about twenty years. Live in that home with a caregiver and her four daughters. She makes it possible for me to not live in an institution of some sort.
