British-born Journalist recently retired due to loss of speech and inability to use the phone. Have lived in Florida 27 years and love, or used to love, gardening. Have a wonderfully landscaped home that I did myself with many unusual and fragrant trees and shrubs. I live with Tom, my partner of 10 years, who's from Scotland, and many cats. I used to work with stray cats in my spare time when I could walk, and drive. I am convinced my ALS was triggered by a statin I took for high cholesterol. Anyone else think there's a connection?
