About Me: I woke up one morning and my whole left side was numb. I already had a brother & sister with MS, so I was pretty sure what it was. I called a neurologist who knew my siblings, he ordered an MRI & confirmed what I suspected-MS. I was an operating room RN, at the time. I left my career 2 years ago, after 12 years, the last 3 doing open heart surgery. I loved my career, but the work was just too intense and exhausting for me anymore.
