- Well, here is my update......I am 44 now, still dx'd with ALS in October of 2008. I try to stay outdoors as much as I can, I invent ways to continue to use my tools, weedeaters, lawnmower, and it gets me in trouble more often than not. I still love my wife and she is still wonderful, I have three children and she has three children, 3 boys and 3 girls ages ranging from 26-16. We now have 3 grandbabies, Emily 5, Jayden 4 and AJ who is 1 month old. It has been a trip since dx, but I plan on making each day count. I don't worry about ALS anymore, I just trust God. More…
