About Me: Hello. I'm 56. I've had bipolar since I was 16 years. I'm divorced. Have 3 children. My girls are grown and live away. My son was 19 when he committed suicide suffering from schizophrenia. That was 6 years ago. I've since lost 150#. I've developed treatment-resistant bp after trying scores of med combinations. I've only been hospitalized once though my doctors have recommended it frequently over the years. I see a therapist, psychiatrist, take meds and have a wonderful close friend who is a PhD psychologist. I have been able to work though sometimes only half-time. That's very hard. More…
