- It all started summer of 08 when I steped on a nail. Cleaned it up and thought no more about it. About 2 months later I got up one morning and went to work as always. The next thing I remember was wakeing up 4 weeks later in ICU. Turns out I had blood poisoning throught out my entire body except my brain. Also had 3 strokes and found out I had HIV. Well AIDS. Had a CD4 count of 2. Spent another month in the hospital and a few weeks with home nursing. Doing much better now. The previous 2 yrs my test came back false poz. Was tested again and told they would call if any problem. NO call
