My live in boyfriend of 15 years was diagnosed with coriticobasil degeneration 10 months ago. I could see things were not right with him as long as 2 years but he is 65 and just chalked a lot of things up to age, but when he couldn't do simply things like zip his coat up or put his shirt on right I knew something wasn't right. That is when we got help. He is now on lithium for two months and aricept for 7months. We also do therapy once a week. Physical, occupational and speech. We both are still trying to cope with this disease and sometimes it is very hard. Would really like to talk.
