I have had significant and diagnosable anxiety for perhaps about 5 years now (my memory is pretty poor when it comes to such things), and depression for my entire life, though anxiety is much more of an issue nowadays. In August 2007 I was in a partial hospitalization for the hopelessness that anxiety brought up when I was confronted with beginning my college internship, and took a year off. As of today, Cinco de Mayo 2009, my internship is coming to a close (graduation success!), and I get to confront the significant anxiety of finding a part time job before & during grad school.
