Hi, my name is Leslie Lucrecia. I was diagnosed with ALS Bulbar on May 2007. I have already lost the power of speech, I can only eat creamy things so I mostly feed myself through a tube (which I named Tommy). Nevertheless, I can still walk and write. I am a Public Interpreter and still work on translations. I'm surrounded by a wonderful family. Their love and care are my main tools to keep me on having strength, hope, a positive attitude and also my faith in God. I have learned to find alternatives for my limitations, and so I say: If life gives you lemons, learn how to make lemonade.
