About Me Retired as a stockbroker from Bank of America in January of 2002. HR told me to go on short-term disability to "get my meds straight." At the time, I was on mirapex and carbo/levo. I didn't know it at the time but the mirapex was causing severe compulsions (spending money and sex.) I finally got straightened out when I was admitted "certifiable" due to suicidal thoughts. God was with me the whole way....this team of doctors at Beth Israel in Boston worked magic on me. Got on LT disability. Got denied SS the whole process until I got in front of a Federal judge. DBS about 1 year later. |
