I am a Mother of two Sons, 1 has 2 precious Grandchildren, My Sons father also ALS-limb onset he was diagnosed 09-2001.
I retired from BellSouth on 07-2003 after 36 years, my job was either interacting with my peers, and the last 10 years I was Service Rep. that handled incoming sales, & billing service issues.
Up to 01-06, taking care RSS my right arm/hand.
After Jan. I told my husband we carry on with retirement life. Along comes dysarthria, my tongue would thicken & I couldn't speak plainly, and speaking was my job.
Neurologist & 2nd diagnosis, ALS-Bulbar onset.
