I was diagnosed in 2004 with Parkinsons. However, it very quickly became apparent that I was different than the other PD people in our local support group. My disease progressed rapidly. I went from cane to walker to wheelchair, while the rest of the People With Parkinsons (PWP) pretty much stayed the same. So three years ago, my caregiver, Francesca, and I went to the Parkinsons Institute and we found out that I had MSA. I am currently in bed and unable to move much. I still enjoy eating and watching movies on TV. Francesca (my wife) is handling the communications on this site.
