About Me Aside from ALS, I've been healthy all my life. I grew up in the west central WI country, married, raised 5 children. South metro MN has been home for over 50 years. My first job was as a nurse's aide. I attended college once all my children were in school. I worked as an LPN in our community hospital and spent the last 20 years of my career as an RN in a care center, caring for people, some of whom had ALS. My greatest fear was realized when I was diagnosed with ALS, 5/5/08. I'm ok, live alone, with friends & all my loving family members close by. 2 family members also had ALS. |
