Diagnosed when I was 30 years old with ET, 2 years later PD. I have 3 kids, 20 yr old daughter, 16 and 17 year old sons. I stay as active as possible and attend their sports activities. I walked in the IMT Des Moines half-Marathon (13.1 miles) on October 17, 2010. This was our 3rd annual event and had 78 team mates this year. We got quite a bit of publicity in the Des Moines area and are continuing our quest to Raise Parkinson's Awareness, One Step at a Time!!
