I'm papaw perry, 70 years old (just had birthday) with ALS . I had a EMG Test done 4 Dec 2008 and was diagnosed with ALS and thought I had a slow Progression type. Had a EMG Test done 18 March 2010 showed worse.I'm under the care of the VA in Athens and Augusta, Ga. I must use a walker and wheel-chair. My balance is bad and my muscles are deteriorating. My speech is slurred and is slowly getting worse.I have spastisity in my legs ,arms, hands and shoulder's. I had to retire on disability Aug-07. My legs have cramped and spasticity mostly of the night since I came back from Vietnam in Jan. 68.
