About Me Redding CaLif. I was diagnosed HIV poz In 1996, the symptoms, night sweats, swollen glands. low fevers. started a year prior to being diagnosed. I was put on the meds early because It was thought "Hit Hard And Hit Early" would help retain some immunity for the body to fight HIV. I was off the meds (on a De-tox program)for 7 months. My body is still fighting once again, low fevers, swollen glands. Now doctors think The "Hurry Up and Wait" Theory (wait until you have AIDS) is better, because of early drug resistance. I think it sould be up to the individual when they want to start HIV meds |
