Diagnosis Summary
|
About Me I exercised all my life: gardening, walking, jogging. A highlight for me was when I ran in a President's Day race in Hawaii when I was 65. I was a stenographer, crocheter and piano player. I used my hands and fingers without a thought....so ALS is a bit of an adjustment for me. I thought I would have my piano playing as a comfort in my old age. Seems like God had a different plan. So I listen to beautiful music on CDs now. It helps calm and soothe me. My husband is 84 and starting to fail. We laugh about life together. |
