About Me Born, raised, and never leaving Northern California. How it was... Diagnosed after mental breakdown in 1996 - senior year of college. I was 23. Medicated but still drinking/self-medicating with marijuana. Got sober after destroying several relationships with alcoholic behavior. I was 27. How it is now... Me= 35 yrs. Family = 2 bipolar adults and 1 bipolar child makes life interesting and sometimes very overwhelming! We are all medicated and going to therapy. We all do the best we can to care for each other.
