About Me
In 1990 I was in a bad car accident while 6mo pregnant. My Neurologist attributed the Myelopathy that soon developed in my left hand as the result of C5-C6 budging disc. Over the past 18 years my symptoms have increased to the point that I finally consented to go in for an MRI expecting to be referred for a cervical laminectomy. What did they find but demylinating lesions on my cervical spine and in my brain. LP confirmed MS and I've now been referred to Dr. Goodin @UCSF for definitive diagnosis of Primary Progressive MS. I've been to busy being a nurse to be a patient over the past 18 years.
