Diagnosis Summary
|
About Me Im an early onset PD patient. I was 40 when diagnosed and now I'm almost 55. My late husband noticed that my left arm didn't swing normally when we walked the track. It seemed to lie limply. Another symtom I noticed was a slight tremor in my left arm when I held a picture book up to my first graders. My physician referred me to Dr. James Love, a noted neurologist in Greensboro. After an MRI determined that I had not suffered a stroke, nor had a brain tumor, he was fairly certain that I had Parkinson's Disease. I responded, "I'm too young to have that!" |
