I am a 52 year old mother of two sons and a grandmother of 6, five boys and one girl. I was born at Davis Monthan AFB, in Tucson, Arizona and have lived all but 11 months of my life here. I remarried six years ago after being a single mother for 24 years. I absolutely love the desert and am what many people refer to as a "desert rat". The main problem that I have with it now, though, is the fact that we have over 300 days of sunshine in Tucson and our average summer temperature is over 105 degrees farenheit. Lupus, sunshine and heat don't go well together. I truly love life!
