I was first diagnosed with RRMS back in early 2008, but now into 2009, after going throught the interferions, I was re-diagnosed as being primary progressive. I am finding out that PPMS is not quite what I expected. I do not have the ups and downs that RRMS has, it is more of a long and gradual trip downhill, the next day not quite as good as yesterday. But I will not accept the pounding that this disease hands me on a daily basis, and promise myself every day I will maintain a positive attitude throughout the course. I will not fold up like a lawn chair; I refuse to let the bastard win.
