About Me
I am a 66 year-old retired highschool English teacher. I was a volunteer firefighter/EMT for 35 years and am currently serving on the board of directors for our local department. I have a son 37 and daughter 33. My second wife, Barbara and I have been married 16 years. Since our retirement we have traveled, we work for the Eugene Scottish Festival and I am very involved in my church. My mother died of ALS in 1988 and we suspect my maternal grandmother died of it also in 1949. Bruce died May 6, 2008. The death certificate listed ALS complicated by Ankylosing Spondilitis.
