About Me I had my first symptoms in 1988, that I could identify. By 1991, they were so bothersome that i finally went to a neurologist, who diagnosed me with classic idiopathic Parkinson's Disease. He performed an MRI and a few other tests to rule out other things, then started me on Sinemet. That worked. I tried Eldepryl, helped some. I tried Requip, on it I just couldn't think. Not good. Amatadine worked well, until I started having prostate problems. Quit that, went back to just Sinemet or carbadopa levidopa, which is all I take to this day. Recently tried Mirepex, couldn't stay awake nor could I sleep. |
