Retired from US Govt after 30 1/2 years. Married to Dan 38 years. Have 2 sons. Started singing since dx'd with PD. I am a poet; have written several poems about PD friends. Read poetry at www.acpsounds.org. Working with a composer to create songs from my poems. Have produced a CD for PD--Songs of Love and Hope. Alabama State Co-Coordinator for Parkinson Action Network, & now I am Senior Advisor for Newly Diagnosed patients. Board member of Parkinson Assoc of AL; member of local support group. Advocate for PD. Held successful fundraiser past 6 years. Mentor for young onset patients.
