About Me
I'm a 48-year-old electronics engineer in the field of space sciences research, and I'm a lucky, lucky lady. Aside from a job that I love, I have a wonderful husband of 23 years, a terrific 21-year-old son, a loving family, a little house in the woods, a dog, a cat... and a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. What a surprise that was! I'm trying to be positive and look at this as an opportunity to learn, but some days I fail at that. I was diagnosed in September of 2006, so I'm still a newbie, but I'm learning more every day.
