- Hi, my name is John and I retired from the shipping industry in 2001, I have a partner/carer Lyn who is indispensable. Between us we have three children (one divorced, one married and one still single) and four grandchildren from the ages of 17 to one-year-old. I like my garden but unfortunately unable to landscape or pull a weed, played golf, rugby union/league, hockey and men's softball.
