Looking back, my optic neuritis should have given me a clue but with a new baby, who has time to think? Everything was fine until I had 2 minor car accidents within 6 months in 2001-2002. Then my left hand/arm just felt kind of numb and tingley--that lead to a spinal MRI which showed significant white spots and a probable ms diagnosis. From September 2002 until the present, things have slowly deteriorated-a steady slow decline. Having a family history and 2 prepubescent kids, we packed up and moved to lower latitudes. Hopefully this will stop the family tradition!
