About Me I am a 62 year young woman of color; raised in a Brooklyn, NY inner-city project BUT I attended parochial el & hs ~ talk about not belonging!! 3 years college, marriage [4X], 3 kids, always gainfully employed, diagnosed at age 51. Devastating!!, but also blessed. A service provider' rapport facilitated entry into medical care and informed, advised, and guided my access to support services. I am now the founder and co-director of a newly funded non-profit. I've been certified as an educator/advocate by the feds, the state [MA], and the city of Boston. I am an excellent public speaker. |
